He began in-house as a digital marketing manager for a home-improvement company, then led the client-services team at a home-services marketing agency — seeing, from both sides, how contractors were served by outside vendors. He went on to found Uplevel Digital Services, a digital marketing agency for home-improvement companies.
Thirteen-plus years in the industry taught him the same lesson from every seat: home-improvement companies are forced to stitch together separate third-party vendors for their website, marketing, and technology — expensive, disconnected, and hard to hold accountable.
