Privacy policy

This policy covers hellojade.ai, operated by Uplevel Digital. It describes what this website collects, why, who it goes to, and how to turn the optional parts off. It is written to match what the site actually does — if you find something here that does not match what you experience, tell us and we will fix one of the two.

What we collect

When you just read the site. Your browser sends an IP address, a user agent, and the page you asked for; our web server records those to serve the page and to keep the site working and secure. Nothing about you is required to read any page here.

When you submit a form. Three forms on this site send us information, and only what you type into them: the audit and contact form, the weekly-demo registration, and the booking form that closes most pages. Between them they ask for your name, email address, phone number, business name, website address, trade, a preferred day and time, and anything you write in the notes field. Not every form asks for all of it, and the only fields we require are the ones marked as required.

With each submission we also store the time, the IP address the request came from, your browser's user agent, and how you first arrived at the site — a campaign tag from a link you clicked, or the site that referred you. That last part is the hj_attr cookie described below. It records how you got here, not who you are.

What we do not collect. We do not ask for payment-card details on this website, and we do not collect special categories of personal data. There is no account to create and no password to store.

Cookies, and the ones you control

Analytics and advertising are off until you accept them. Until you press Accept on the consent banner, Google Tag Manager is not loaded at all, and Google Consent Mode is set to deny analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization. If you press Decline, or simply never answer, it stays that way.

• hj_consent — first-party, 180 days. Records whether you accepted or declined. Set only when you press one of the two buttons.
• hj_attr — first-party, HttpOnly, 90 days. Records how you first arrived (campaign tag or referring site) so a form you submit days later is credited correctly. Set only when there is something to record; a visitor who arrives directly is not given one.
• hjkit — first-party, HttpOnly, 30 days, and only on /brand-kit. It holds the access token for that one directory. It does not track anything.
• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager cookies — set only after you accept. Measurement is routed through our own sst.hellojade.ai endpoint before it reaches Google Analytics 4.

You can change your answer at any time: open cookie preferences, or clear this site's cookies in your browser. Withdrawing is one click, in the same place as granting.

Who your information goes to

• Us. A submitted form is written to our own server first, then handed to our forms service, which emails the hellojade team so someone can reply to you. Both are run by Uplevel Digital on our own infrastructure.
• Google. If you accept, analytics events go to Google Analytics 4 and may be used by Google for measurement and ad personalization. Google's own terms govern what it does with them.
• Nobody else. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not hand form submissions to data brokers or list vendors.

Some pages embed a YouTube video. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play on it.

How long we keep it

A form submission is a business record: we keep it while we are talking to you and afterwards as a record of the conversation. There is no automatic expiry, which is the honest answer — so the way it goes away is that you ask us and a person removes it.

Your choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to a copy of it, to object to how it is used, or to opt out of its use for personalized advertising — the cookie preferences control above is that opt-out for this site. Email hello@hellojade.ai and we will act on it. We will not treat you differently for asking.

This site honors your browser's Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track only to the extent that declining the consent banner keeps analytics and advertising off — which it does, completely.

Children

hellojade is a service sold to businesses. The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and the sitemap says so — this is one of the few pages on the site that carries a real last-modified date rather than none at all.
